Aisling Bea

Aisling B a, born on 16 March 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She was seen on QI, as well as Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March, 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea started her professional career as a stand-up comedian in 2011, following small parts that she acted in Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. After 2012 she had been being featured in sketch comedy programs, sitcoms, and other similar programming. After she received an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, she was a frequent guest on a variety of panel shows, where she's now a staple. In 2016 and 2017, she was a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Additionally, she was participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan, she is the mother of one sister called Sinead. In 2012, she was the second female to be awarded the So You Think you're Funny award. Bea is her surname in honour of her deceased father. Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. The father of her Brian was an equine veterinarian who committed suicide at the age of three. Bea was just three years old, though she wasn't told about the cause of his death until she turned 13. Her stage name Bea is a tribute to her father. She wrote an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017 about her experiences dealing with suicide. Bea's mother Helen was also an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey was in charge of the care of her daughter as well as Sinead. Her family were obsessed with racing and horses. Bea was a guide at the Irish National Stud in her early years. She knew, however it wasn't something she wanted to pursue for a living and that she was more interested in doing.
